The Points Needed for Australian General Skilled Migration Increasing to 65

There is a directive to the Applicants who apply for a Skilled Visa in Australia that they have to obtain at least 65 points for applying from 1 July 2018. This change will have an impact on all applicants who presently have 60 points but did not receive an invitation to apply for the Skilled Visa. 

Additionally they must also note that, in case they obtain, the new norm of minimum score, (65), it does not serve a guarantee to get the invitation to apply. There are many people who opt for state sponsorship and there is a stiff competition. In Reality the applicant will require 70 or 75 points to get the invitation to apply for Skilled Independent (189) Visa. 

The two impacting ways to increase the points score getting the English Test as well as State Sponsorship. Many states are closed temporarily which makes it difficult to assess the option of state sponsorship. Most of the  states will reopen after 1st  July 2018 and there will be much clarification of the scenario after this happens.
