Australia needs the skilled professionals and offers work visas based on different immigration programs. Skills assessments support fair play and transparency in skilled migration and provide more opportunities for the international workforce to streamline the transition to Permanent Migration to Australia

The immigration programs are framed based on demand from the provinces, employers, nominated and some offered for the international students with Australian education willing to settle in Australia. All the employment-based programs require Australia Immigration Skill assessment that scales the skill standards of the candidates.

All the employment-based programs are point based and age, qualifications, English standards, and additional skills an important role in the assessment test. Skill assessment for permanent residency is also a mandatory requirement, here the occupations play a role, there are of two type’s occupations one is the general profession and the other is based on trade.

Immigration Skill Assessment in Australia is done by different units. The evaluation skill certificate is valid for three years based on the skilled occupation list criteria. Skill assessment checks whether your occupation has certain standards that meet the Australian occupation standards or not. It doesn’t mean that a positive skill assessment test will fetch the Australian permanent Visa.

All the assessing bodies of Australia will see that you have skills higher than post-secondary, such as university education to issue you positive assessment report.
